This looks difficult to do and YEAH! it is very hard to do it. Also you'll need a lot of spare time. The first thing you gotta do is collect all those pull tabs from the cans, i remember i was all the time like "hey! don't throw that, i need them.." Besides the pull tabs you'll need to break a gallon of milk to put it on the down side of the purse , this will bring the purse some kind of base. 
< Down side. 
< I used some velcro to open and close the purse. This is not necessary but i strongly recommend it. On the inside you have to put a piece of fabric [any color] . I sew a black one on. You can do this by knowing how to put together all those pull tabs , using some yarn and a thick needle. And yeah... it takes a lot of time...
